Hi,
I'm Mrs. Jayann Cruzen. I am very proud and privileged to have been the Naches Valley Middle and Intermediate School Counselor for the past 18 years. I have lived in the Naches Valley since I was 12 years old (yes, a long time.....). My husband and I are both Naches Valley graduates and decided to raise our family in this beautiful valley.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education with an emphasis in school guidance counseling. I was a children's therapist before entering the field of school counseling.
Some of the more common issues taken up in school counseling include:
Building self-esteem, improving peer relations, improving communication skills, making better choices, improving and/or learning study skills, working towards becoming a better student, coping with change, dealing with stress, coping with separation and divorce, dealing with loss, coping with crisis, and anger management.

Association. Parent and child’s confidentiality is protected to the
extent allowed by law and school policy. Helping children meet their fullest potential is a combined effort of school and home.
